M83 deed. Mai Lan, "Go!"

Rather than attempting to beat the field lighting 2011 single "Midnight City," M83 engineer Anthony Gonzalez moved in the opposite direction of uneven '80s synths on the current year's Junk and toward the mushy interest of retro FM radio. On "Go!," Mai Lan offers a stammering vocal execution that blossoms on the disco-funked theme, however it's a Steve Vai guitar solo in the back a large portion of that makes this a vocation highlight. — J.
